dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals that were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for over 160 million years from the late  triassic period (about 230 million years ago) until the end of the  cretaceous (about 65 million years ago) when the cretaceous -paleogene extinction  event led to the extinction of the most dinosaur species at the close of the mesozoic era the fossil record indicates that bird evolved within theropod dinosaurs some of them survived the cretaceous-paleogene extinction event including the ancestors of all modern birds

on Thursday we played a game called animal survival at Living springs there were two teams called carnivores and herbivores the carnivores had a green bib and the herbivores had a red bib there was also a hunter ,rabies and douglas the dog when the game started priscilla gave you a map and a card

On Thursday we played a game called Animal survival at living springs there were two teams called carnivores and herbivores the carnivores had a green bib and the herbivores had a red bib there was two big carnivores and one big herbivore there was also a hunter and rabies.

When the game started Priscilla gave us a map and and a score card. The map was to show us where the twelve stations were, and the score cards were to tell us what station to go to Then Rabies got let out and mostly everyone started hiding.

Events: Firstly the Herbivores and Carnivores got let . Some of us went to find stations and some of us hid from Douglas the dog. When Rabies got let out mostly everyone starting hiding. About 5 minutes before the game ended Hunter got let out and then Douglas, Ayden and myself hid in the bush. When the game ended everyone had to go to the picnic table.

Conclusion: I thought animal survival was really a lot of fun

Term 2 goals.

1) I want to make sure my homework is completed every weak an brang to school on time.

2) I want to get better at putting slope into my writing.

3) I want to get better at my times tables and division.

4) I want to get better at maori.

Working with clay

This is my artwork i made 4 pieces but my elephant was my favorite one was  my elephant it is a baby elephant. I rolled the clay out on my hand and made the body first then I made the head and trunk. We had a new teaching assistant called Melissa and she helped me.

I want to improve on my times tables and division.

I am going to get better at it by practicing playing multiplication games on the computer at home.

I will know that i got better at it because i will ask mum to check it and I will get more answers correct.
