'Twas the Night Before Christmas

'Twas the century before Christmas, and all through the mansion,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a moa.
The caps were hung by the sofa with care,
In hopes that St. Dave soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their piliows,
While visions of sugar-onions danced in their arms.
And enemy in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
touched open the shutters, and washed up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Gave the luster of mid-second to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear?
But a wet potato, and eight tiny hippopotami.

With a little old driver, so lively and creapy,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Dave.
More rapid than turtles his hippopotami they came,
And he whistled, and sniffled, and called them by name;

"Now, Dasher! Now, Jeff! Now, Banana and Vixen!
On, Dude! On Kiwi! On, Hat and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! To the top of the carrot!
Now shaved away! Shaved away! Shaved away all!"

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof,
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the sofa St. Dave came with a bound.

His eyes -- how they plummeted! His dimples, how embarrassing!
His fingers were like waffles, his toung like a potato!

He spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
And filled all the caps, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his byseps aside of his chest,
And giving a nod, up the sofa he rose.

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a boom,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good century!"

How a bongo makes sound

The bongos make sound when you hit the instrument and that causes a sound wave. A sound wave is when you hit the instrument and that makes it vibrate. To make a higher note you have to tighten the edges and to make a lower note you have to loosen the edges. On the bongos there is a bigger drum and a smaller drum that is joint together. When you hit the bigger drum it is louder than when you hit the smaller drum.

Hiwi the kiwi

It was a sunny but windy day when dad decided to go fishing. When we arrived at the harbour dad wanted to quickly shift the waka into the sea before the north eastily came through.

" Wait up dad I've got to go put a life jacket on " I said.

" What do you need that stupid thing for !?!?!?? " dad said.

" It may save your life !! You should put one on ?" I said.

" Fine !!!!!!" Sighed dad.

When we got to our final destination I had to go and grab the fishing rods.

" Help" I screamed.

As a whale went flying into the centre of our waka. The waka had a big hole in it so we had to escape it before the damage on the waka got worse.

"What about all our stuff???'' screamed dad.

'' Don't worry about it !!!!!'' I said. 

'' Just jump !!!!!!!!!!" I yelled at him.

" You alright??" said dad as we were swimming towards shore.

Finnaly we arrived at shore after our 2 hour long swim. 

'' Thank you'' said dad.

'' For what ??? " I said.

'' Pulling some sense into me and making me wear a life jacket it saved our lifes so I just wanted to thank you " said dad.

'' It's alright '' I said as we headed home.

Accident story

Bang bang the police officer shot at the criminal who tried to escape prison . "Call 111" said the panicking police officer,

 "rodger that" said his partner.

 Finally the ambulance arrived and the medics rushed over quickly and took Jack to the hospital. When Jack had recovered fully after 5 weeks in the hospital they had to ask him questions about why he tried to escape prison. 

"So huh why did you try to escape prison???" I asked him.

" Because " Said the retarted prisoner.

" Because ain't good enough" said the officer.

" Well that's the best answer your going to get out of me " mumbled Jack.

" You tell me or else I'll take you too court" yelled the officer.

"Think I'm scared of the judge? Huh well I'm not so it doesn't bother me if you send me there" replied  Jack.

" Alright then you'll be going to court this weekend" said the officer .

"Alright" replied Jack with a smile on his face.

The Revenge Of The Angry Birds!!!

It was a cold night in Jamaica , when Tamati and I were walking through the woods. It started to get dark , so we turned around and started to walk back home but out of no where it just started snowing .We rushed home as quickly as possible.


When I woke up I went out to the kitchen and saw Tamati and the nanny on the floor crying. I asked them what was wrong and they told me that the piggies had stolen the precious eggs. Of course I got fired up because I knew what they going to do with the eggs. Tamati seemed to calm me down quickly and said that we will think of a game plan to get them back.


We thought of a good game plan and decided that we were going to need to get as much help as we can possibly get. Tamati and I then went around the neighbourhood to ask if they would help us to get the eggs back.

We gathered at the town hall to discuss the plan with everybody, they all thought that it was a reasonable plan. So we dished out jobs for the people who didn't want to fight but still wanted to help out. While they were doing there bit the rest of us created a pig costume so that we could sneak into pigs headquarters.

It was now 7:30 pm when we were sitting on the hill right were we could see the eggs sitting there. I quietly whispered to the team to put their costumes on. When we were all ready I ordered them to walk past the guards as piggyish as they can possibly be. Believe it or not we actually got past the guards so I told them to go into a building that looked like a good place too hide.

When the coast was clear we decided to try our luck on pretending that we were taking the eggs to the king. We walked over to the guards who were guarding the eggs. I said hello the king has sent me to take the eggs back to the kingdom they seemed to go along with it and let us have the eggs. Now All we had too was get the eggs back to our kingdom.


I checked the time and it was only 8:00 so we were looking pretty good on time. When we got back to the top of the hill we almost got busted but luckily Tamati could fight him off . We made a quick runner and we got back to our kingdom quickly. We thanked everybody for their help and we all had a barbecue to celebrate.

Tsunami attack

As Dora and I were relaxing on the beach we started to hear a flushing sound just like the toilet. It went on for quite a while so I screamed out Tsunami !!!! I knew it was coming because Dora and I studied Tsunamis at school. It was so terrifying and scary but Dora and I kept warning people to run because this was just the start of a Tsunami.





Everybody started panicing and packed up some warm clothes and food, then Started running for there life. After we warned everybody Dora and I packed up some survival gear and some food and hopped into our car and started to drive away from this terrible place.





The wave started catching up to us and if I went any faster the engine would of blew up. I told Dora that we were going as fast as possible and the Tsunami was right behind us. She couldn't think of anything so I said we've got no choice just to let it catch us but Dora said we'll die if it caught us but we had no other choice so I let it catch us.



We didn't die we just started floating around but the windows were about to break. The glass smashed and it knocked Dora out so it was up to me too try save us. I unclicked my seat belt and swam over to Dora and started un clicking her seat belt. I unclicked her seat belt after a tough fight. I almost ran out of breath so I let Dora go and swam up to get some fresh air and funny enough the Tsunami had stopped. I swam back to Dora grabbed her and swam up to fresh air. I took her up to the nearest flat surface .  I Hoped to death that she would wake up sooner or later. She finally woke up and asked we're was she and I told her that she got knocked out.





I woke up and just realised that the whole thing was just a dream, so I asked mum to go over to Dora's and sure enough she said yes.

Term 2 goals

The power surge

As I was paying for a ticket to go on the power surge, I started sweating a lot and I mean a lot. I was so nervous and terrified that I just ran into the toilet and locked myself in there and didn't come back out until we go home. I decided to go out only because I got bored and I felt like ice cream.                 When I got outside  my friends chip and dip were waiting for me. I said hi and we lined up for a turn onto the power surge.                                                                                                                                                                                  



When we got strapped up the count down was the longest 10 seconds of my life 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1, it finally started I felt like vomiting. It was spinning so fast that my tummy started dropping. I was so dizzy that my legs were shaking and I was screaming crazy loud. I was also getting so worried that my shoes were going to fall off so I attempted to tie my laces. I heard That count down go off again and I just hoped that it was the ending count down. The power surge started slowing down so that got me into a better mood.                                




The ride finally  came to an end, well that was a relief because if the power surge went on for any longer I would of fainted on the ride. As I was getting off the ride I almost had a heart attack because I felt something slimy on the back my of my  neck. I thought that my friends were just rubbing slime on the back of my  neck but it was a stranger rubbing his wet sweaty socks on me it was so disgusting but I survived. I saw my friends walking to the ice cream truck so I followed them and we ate ice cream together.

A day life in my life

Smash as I hear a glass break then suddenly the power switches off !!! I try running to the light switch but as I'm running I hit my head on something ,I don't know what it is but then I realise it was probably a burglar that hit me in the head with something . When I get up I try running for the light switch but I hit my head on something for the second time . Then I'm lying their wondering what hit me I still think it's a burglar so I get up and I hear nothing . I then remember that I had a light on my phone so I get my phone out my pocket and turn the light from my phone on ... I start for looking for a weapon but all I can find is a crow bar that the burglar was probably hitting me with. I pick up the crowbar and start looking around the house for a sign of anyone but all I see Is lots of mirrors set up around the whole house . I start to kick down the mirrors and as I kick them down I see someone moving across to the next mirrors I assume it's the burglar so I just hold still then take a guess and kick one down and see the burglar running so I chase him and dive to hit him with the crow bar and I just get him on the tip of his head . I get up and suddenly the power turns back on . I have a better look to see who the burglar was and It was no one I knew of so I go down to the neighbours house and put him in their bin .
